Grindmaster, Crathco, and UNIC brands recently celebrated their 125th anniversary. They started 1865, when a 14-year old boy from Germany immigrated to Chicago to apprentice as a tin- and coppersmith. For over a decade, he learned his craft, mastered techniques, and then began innovating. In 1893, advanced machinery was designed to produce a wide assortment of hot water, coffee, and tea urns, while preserving the quality and workmanship of the handcrafted originals.

The Classic
The Classic by UNIC is a single group espresso maker with large steam boiler. This unit typically operates for capacities upward of 10 lbs. per week. This model is designed for rugged commercial application and high perfomrance during rush periods, with a compact design ideal for limited space.

The Tango
The Tango comes in various styles, but is a dual group super automatic two-step espresso maker with automated steam and foaming wand for milk drinks. This unit is ideal for capacities upward of 48 lbs. per week. The two independent stainless steel brewing chambers and software design replicate and consistently deliver infusion parameters found in barista controlled equipment.
Grinders
UNIC produces a variety of grinders, the Medium size Doser Grinder is designed for standard professional use, It features a stemless infinitesimal grinding adjustment, volumetric doser for coffee distribution, and an automatic shut-off switch and restart within doser.
